I was born in Munich in 2009 to a German-Georgian family, and skipped a year, so I'm the youngest in my class.
I'm in the gifted track at the Maria-Theresia-Gymnasium, taking physics as my advanced course, and I sit my Abitur in 2027. Most of what I've learned outside class has come from projects, including work at the FRM II research reactor in Garching and TU Munich's makerspace. Competition juries also taught me where my work needed improvement.
I've been publishing 3D models since I was thirteen, and they've been downloaded about ten thousand times by people I'll never meet. That's still the fact about my work I like best.
Away from the workshop
I go to the theatre and the opera a lot — eleven productions in the last two years, from Schiller and Horváth to Fidelio. I share a small cabin sailboat on the Ammersee with a friend, which in practice involves more engine maintenance than sailing. I cycle and run. I have a record player and an unreasonable attachment to it.
I cook Georgian food. In my family khinkali is how you welcome people, and I've made enough of them by now to be trusted with it.
I became interested in watches through their engineering, and that interest led me to start trading them. I also like architecture and other objects designed to last for generations.
Places
I live in Germany and have travelled to Georgia, Italy, the United States, Greece, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Hungary. I visit Georgia regularly because half of my family is from there.
